Please join us to celebrate our 10th festival this autumn in Wigtown. Scotland's Book Town Festival is one of Scotland's largest arts festivals with over 100 readings, lectures, debates, performances and recitals taking place over a 10 day period in and around Scotland's national Book Town. Events include talks by the country's foremost novelists, politicians, poets and historians as well as theatre, music, films, street entertainment and a dedicated programme of children's events.

- Red Kites and Geese in Flight Guided Walk

Walk with the RSPB Community Liaison Officer to the bird hides in the Ken Dee Marshes reserve to see Red Kites and wildfowl here for the winter. Learn more about the work being done in and around the reserve for these species. Please bring warm clothing, waterproofs and stout footwear. Sorry no dogs.
